Common questions about HeartBadge gift delivery, claims, revocation, rewards, and troubleshooting.

When is a purchased gift ready to send?

The gift record must be eligible for delivery. Payment confirmation, settlement, a protection window, or another review can keep the order pending. Use the status shown in the Gifts area before sharing a claim path.

Where can I find the claim link?

Open the Gifts area of your dashboard. When the delivery method uses a shareable link and the unit is ready, the current link appears with that gift record. Do not reuse a link from an old screenshot or unrelated order.

What if I lose the link?

Retrieve it from the gift record rather than asking the recipient to forward an old message. If you cannot access the dashboard, contact support@heartbadge.com with the purchaser email and order details. Never post the claim link publicly while requesting help.

Can someone else use a shared link?

A transferable claim link may be usable by anyone who receives it until the associated unit is claimed or otherwise unavailable. Send-to-recipient delivery is safer when the gift is intended for one specific person.

Can I revoke a gift?

The dashboard may offer revocation for an eligible, unclaimed gift unit. Claimed or finalized gifts generally cannot be reassigned through the original claim path. Follow the current action and status shown for the unit.

Does revocation automatically issue a refund?

No automatic refund should be assumed. Refund eligibility depends on the payment method, settlement state, fulfillment state, and applicable policy. When approved, the dashboard or support response explains the refund state and destination. Bank and wallet payment timing can differ.

Do gifts expire after a fixed amount of time?

Use the expiration or availability information shown on the current gift record or claim page. Do not rely on a general one-year rule unless that date is displayed for the specific gift.

What happens when the recipient claims?

The recipient verifies an email with a six-digit code and completes the claim. The membership may still need payment finalization, a protection window, security setup, or another required step before the badge appears.

What if the recipient already has HeartBadge access?

They should claim with the email already connected to their account. The result depends on the gift offer and current membership state. Do not assume every claim automatically creates an additional badge. The dashboard or support flow will show the available outcome.

Can I change the tier, recipient, or message?

Available edits depend on whether the gift is still pending, ready, delivered, or claimed. When the dashboard does not provide an edit action, do not create a replacement purchase until the original order is resolved.

How do multiple gift units work?

A multi-unit order tracks a quantity of memberships. Each successful claim consumes an available unit. The Gifts dashboard is the source of truth for the number pending, ready, claimed, revoked, or remaining. Use a group order when you need named seat assignment or ongoing administration.

When is a purchaser or referral reward earned?

When a gift offer includes a purchaser reward, checkout or the gift record shows the amount and requirements. Creating an order or submitting payment is not enough by itself. Eligibility can depend on payment confirmation, recipient claim, membership finalization, and applicable protection rules.

Why does the claim link not work?

  • The gift payment or protection window may still be pending.
  • The single-use unit may already be claimed.
  • A multi-unit distribution may have no units remaining.
  • The unit may have been revoked or made unavailable.
  • The link may be incomplete or copied from an outdated message.
  • The recipient may need to use the newest email verification code.

What payment methods are accepted for gifts?

Gift checkout displays the methods currently enabled for the order, which can include HandCash, Mercury ACH, or a supported stablecoin payment. Credit or debit cards appear only when the current checkout offers them. See Payment Methods.

What should I send support?

Include the purchaser email, claim URL when safe to share privately, order or gift reference, approximate time, current status, and exact error message. Never send a verification code, authenticator code, private key, wallet seed, or full bank credentials.
