Notifications
LiveHow to review and safely respond to HeartDash account, order, gift, group, and security notices.
Notifications help you find changes that may require attention. They do not replace the underlying order, membership, gift, group, wallet, or security record. Open the related record to confirm its current state.
Types of notices
- Orders and billing. Payment updates, invoice availability, settlement, or finalization changes.
- Memberships. Verification, setup, badge availability, or needs-attention states.
- Gifts. Delivery, claim, remaining-unit, revocation, or purchaser-reward updates.
- Groups. Seat release, invitation, claim, assignment, or inventory updates.
- Wallet. Transfer, restriction, cashout, or destination updates.
- Security. Email verification, passkey, authenticator, recovery, or destination-change alerts.
- Programs. Participation, event, reward, or program-specific announcements.
Read versus resolved
Marking a notice as read does not complete the related task. A notification can disappear from the unread view while the underlying record remains pending or requires action. Follow the link to the source record and confirm its status there.
Email and dashboard notices
Some updates may also be sent by email. Use email to return to the official HeartBadge surface, then verify the same event in HeartDash. Do not send payment, disclose a code, or approve a security prompt solely because an unexpected message asks you to act.
Suspicious notices
- Do not share email verification or authenticator codes.
- Do not approve a passkey prompt you did not initiate.
- Do not send funds to a recipient that does not match your order.
- Do not open a replacement claim link until the existing gift or seat record is checked.
- Contact support when a notice describes an action you do not recognize.
When contacting support
Include the notification title, approximate time, related record reference, current dashboard status, and a description of what you expected. Remove or mask sensitive personal and financial information from screenshots.
